bespoke landscape design services
Following a free initial consultation visit where we discuss the services that would be most appropriate for your project, I will create a Design Proposal. This outlines the scope of your project, my planned approach and projected fees. A selection of potential design services are described opposite.
An example of a concept plan
Site Survey and Analysis
A thorough site analysis is conducted to take measurements and record existing features that may affect the design. For very large or complex sites, a topographical survey by a land surveyor may be required.
Scaled Design Plan
A fully-labeled master layout plan is created at an appropriate scale. this includes details of all features and proposed construction materials.
Planting Plans
Fully-labelled planting plans are created at an appropriate scale.
These detail the locations, names and numbers of all proposed plants within a border.
Concept Design
This is the first phase of the design process, where possible layouts are considered and chosen in close consultation with you. These drawings provide an impression, without precise measurements, materials or other details.
3D Visuals
3D representations of the design at various angles are drawn electronically or by hand. these drawings bridge the gap between the more abstract 2D plans and the, perhaps daunting, final build.
Plant Sourcing and Planting
High-quality plants are sourced and can be planted in prepared borders.

Consultation
For a small hourly fee, I offer a consultancy service for any other garden-design-related queries you may have. For example, you may need advice on how to make an existing garden more wildlife-friendly or you might have recently moved house and want advice on some small ways you could adapt it to your needs. I can meet you in your garden and help you plan your next steps. Please get in touch to find out how I can help.
Plans, Documents and slides
For public-facing projects, I can create a variety of plans, drawings, documents and slides to provide stakeholders with detailed information about aspects of a proposed plan. For example, a brochure about a biodiversity plan; slides for a public consultation or a leaflet detailing a concept plan to be posted through doors.
